Elastix 2.4.0 Template Now Available
Since starting the Cloud Service early access program, we've been hearing from a lot of people using Elastix. To make it even easier to get started, we now have a production-ready Elastix vApp template that you can deploy in minutes. No more staring at progress bars while the Operating System installs!
We started with the official Elastix 2.4.0 media. To that we added VMware Tools through the CentOS package manager, so you can keep it current with a standard "yum update" command. This ensures full support for all of the VMware vCloud features, including guest customization via your web portal. Other than the VMware Tools, it's a 100% stock Elastix install waiting for you to use.
To deploy an Elastix vApp based on this template, head to your My Cloud tab, click the green plus-sign, and choose Public Catalogs. You'll see it listed there. Don't forget to pick your network during the Configure Networking step. The VM will start, reboot once, and then it's ready to use. Log in to the console as "root" - no password needed. You'll be prompted to set a root login password, MySQL password, and Elastix web interface password.

We're always open to suggestions for new templates to offer, so send a note to firstname.lastname@example.org if there's something you'd like to see.
